The wine is aged in concrete tanks with French oak staves with light toast. This wine is fermented and aged for 8 months in Eastern European oak barrels. Except for a low level of added sulfites (which we use to prevent the growth of unwanted microorganisms), and our organic wine yeast, this wine doesn’t contain any other additives – just grape juice. We used a cellulose filter to clear the wine.
Our Fathers line is characterised by a classical approach and traditional methods. Here all wines are monocépages; each wine is made from just one specific grape variety, resulting in complex and character-driven wines with a true expression of each grape, always with that urban twist and signature that makes it a Chateau Amsterdam wine.
