The sauvignon grape is the first to arrive at our chateau and go through our new "monster" press. It is our only white grape from the south of France. While our sauvignon arrived early, our garganega grape arrived late. Other than low levels of added sulfites (which we use to prevent the growth of unwanted microorganisms), our organic wine yeast and an organic ingredient to prevent bacteria on the Muscat grape, this wine contains no other additives - just grape juice. We used a cellulose filter to clarify the wine.
Our Fathers are classic wines and are made from the finest grapes from across Europe. These wines are terroir driven and a celebration of our farmers and that small piece of land that gave us this harvest. They are raised with attention and care but more importantly with a lot of patience.
The world of wine is one of tradition, full of rules, dogma and age-old etiquette. In our Sons line, we break that. Our Sons surprise and are therefore often made through unconventional techniques, using spontaneous fermentation and with the use of amphorae.
Our Grandsons are easy-going, playful and accessible European blends. We think they are the quintessential everyman's friend. Wines that we created together with our partners in Europe and our customers in Amsterdam, with well-known and popular grapes and with which we define the taste of Amsterdam.
