INTRODUCTION
Started in 2017 with a small wine production, now we produce 200,000 bottles of wine locally in Amsterdam; adjacent to our restaurant where these wines are served. We are growing rapidly and face new challenges every time. Our goal in the coming years is to expand even further in both wine production and distribution. With the dot on the horizon that in 2027 Chateau will be #1 wine brand in the Netherlands.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a sommelier in our in-house restaurant, you will be at the center of the dialogue about which wine goes with which dish, and which wine goes with which visitor. From wine flights to wine tastings, from pairing to special wines made by befriended winemakers, you will lead the dialogue and ensure an unforgettable experience for our guests.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.
As a sommelier, you will be responsible for the wine list, purchasing & margins, and wine experience of our guests.
PLACE IN THE ORGANIZATION
You will work in a team of 6 regulars under the direction of the executive chef and hostess. This job involves working 90% of your time during opening hours.

- Minimum WSET 3
- Experience in the hospitality industry - at least 3 years full time
- Lives a life for gastronomy and understands the hours and weekly schedule involved
