This piquette is made differently from our modern Piquette d'Amsterdam '21. At our new location with all the techniques we could wish for. In proportion many more white grape skins including our beloved viognier. Furthermore, we used only water (and of course a lot of love and attention) to extract the flavor, alcohol and color from the remaining grape skins.
Our Fathers are classic wines and are made from the finest grapes from across Europe. These wines are terroir driven and a celebration of our farmers and that small piece of land that gave us this harvest. They are raised with attention and care but more importantly with a lot of patience.
The world of wine is one of tradition, full of rules, dogma and age-old etiquette. In our Sons line, we break that. Our Sons surprise and are therefore often made through unconventional techniques, using spontaneous fermentation and with the use of amphorae.
Our Grandsons are easy-going, playful and accessible European blends. We think they are the quintessential everyman's friend. Wines that we created together with our partners in Europe and our customers in Amsterdam, with well-known and popular grapes and with which we define the taste of Amsterdam.
