Barrel fermented and aged for 9 months – part on steel and part in French oak barrels. This is a low-intervention, non-filtered wine using spontaneous fermentation on indigenous yeast (naturally present in the grapes), made by our founding winemaker (it’s a Tribute wine). Except for a low level of added sulfites (which we use to prevent the growth of unwanted microorganisms), this wine doesn’t contain any other additives – just grape juice.
This wine is suitable for vegans.
Our Fathers line is characterised by a classical approach and traditional methods. Here all wines are monocépages; each wine is made from just one specific grape variety, resulting in complex and character-driven wines with a true expression of each grape, always with that urban twist and signature that makes it a Chateau Amsterdam wine.
